Child & Adult Care Food Program

Are you a licensed Child Care Provider? Or in the process of being licensed?
We invite you to join C.A.R.D. Child & Adult Care Food Program. By joining CACFP, your Child Care business will prosper, and the children in your care will be healthier, happier, and more attentive. Parents will be glad to know that their children are receiving nutritious meals.
C.A.R.D. sponsors approximately 350 licensed child care providers in 17 counties in northeastern Oklahoma to ensure that infants and children have healthy meals. In these home-based child care businesses it is difficult to keep child care rates affordable and provide a variety of nutritious meals and snacks for children. The Child & Adult Care Food (CACFP) Program offers childcare providers funding to purchase healthy food and assistance in menu planning for meals and snacks. An average reimbursement for serving 2 meals and 1 snack per day for 7 children, the monthly reimbursement check would be approximately $700 per month and approximately $1,200 per month for 12 children.
C.A.R.D. monitors the childcare homes to ensure that high standards are met. C.A.R.D. educates child-care staff on portion sizes, improving food choices, preparation, and sanitation.
