RX for Oklahoma Tulsa
C.A.R.D. employee Becky Bumpus, Rx for Oklahoma Coordinator, is
working hard to improve and enhance the prescription medication
assistance program within Tulsa County. Partnering with
O.S.U. Health Care Center has proven to be a win-win for both
parties but most importantly for the people in need of prescription
drug assistance.
A volunteer program to assist with the paper work process has begun and should be in full swing by mid-July. Volunteers are essential to this program and Becky has proven that volunteer recruitment is possible if you: tap into available resources, be innovative and creative, think outside the box, use word-of-mouth, pound the pavement, and most importantly believe in your mission.
