Child & Adult Care Food Program

Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) provides qualified applicants with the opportunity for a home-based business providing day care homes for working parents and their children. CACFP reimburses home day care owners for food served to the children in their care.

Housing Development/Weatherization

ur Housing Development Programs assist communities in expanding the supply of decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable housing for low-income first-time homebuyers.  CARD partners with housing developers in the service area to provide affordable housing in the form of newly constructed homes that are available for purchase to low to moderate income households.

Senior Citizen Services

Each weekday morning you can find seniors socializing, singing, playing bingo, dominos, and cards at one of our sites in Mayes and Rogers Counties. Our program provides nutritionally balanced lunches, health screenings, medication management, and nutrition education.

Social Services/Emergency Services

Social Services provide low income clients with assistance in emergency situations. Community Action Agencies believe that a person often needs a “hand-up” on their journey out of poverty rather than a “handout”.
