Senior Citizen Services

The Senior Citizens Nutrition Program provides many benefits for persons over the age of 60 years old. Each weekday morning you can find seniors socializing, singing, playing bingo, dominos, and cards at one of our sites in Mayes and Rogers Counties. Our program provides nutritionally balanced lunches, health screenings, medication management, and nutrition education.

Our registered licensed dietician is available at each nutrition site once a month for seniors needing assistance with dietary problems or encouragement for good eating habits.

If you are unable to join in the daily activities at the sites in Pryor, Chouteau, Locust Grove, or Claremore, (and you live within the city limits), you may be eligible for a home delivered meals. Local volunteers deliver hot lunches to seniors confined to their homes. Many of these seniors live alone and enjoy having the daily contact with a caring volunteer. To arrange for home delivered meal service contact the nutrition site in your area.

Congregate nutrition site hours are: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (excluding holidays)
